BTT: Explanation business result in Q2/2010

Ben Thanh Trading & Service Joint Stock Company has explained business result in Q2/2010 as follows:

* Pre-tax profit Q2/2010 of the parent company increased 44.78% or VND3,450,208,947 compared to Q2/2009:

- Profit from business activity increased 70.89% or VND2,759,277,632 compared to Q2/2009 because increase of sales was higher than increase of expenses:

- Sales of selling products and services rose 14.76% or VND8,777,365,704. It was because of utilizing vacancy of leasing offices for business. In addition, sales of the Ben Thanh Center attracted more visitors.

* Business expenses increased 10.83% or VND6,018,088,072 due to increase of cost of goods sold.

* Financial income rose 15.58% or VND576,311,787 due to increase of earnings from subsidiaries

* Other profit rose 101% or VND114,619,528 due to fine of contract termination of leasing office prior to the ended date.
