Export of Kien Santisouk Garment factory reaches billions
Kien Santisouk Garment (Kienvilay Garment) has earned 100 billion kip from exports of clothes and sale in local market in the 2009-2010.
French, Netherland and Japan are main markets of the Kien Santisouk Garment, according to the Deputy Director of Kien Santisouk Garment, Mr. Alounheuan Panissay said on 17 November.
This year, the factory exported clothes worth almost 100 billion kip to overseas and sold in domestic markets, 60 billion kip of which was export, the rest was domestic selling to the Ministries of Defense, Security, 105 Hospital, Lao Brewery Company, Kolao Company and other local customers, continued Mr. Alounheuan.
The Kien Santisouk Garment was established in 1993 with the total investment of 60 million kip. The factory has been grown continually and started its exports in 1995. Presently, the total investment of factory increased to 61.43 billion kip with the 598 employees.
