SAF: Explanation for the change of operating results of 2008 and 2009

Safoco Foodstuff JSC explained the change in operating result in 2008 as follows: On November 2009, the State Audit of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh Tax Institute have audited SAF’s 2008 financial reports and tax report, therefore, the financial report submitted to the SSC and HNX has been adjusted in Opening balance (1/1/2009) following the audited minutes of the State audit, and the Corporate income tax in 2009 has been increased compared to results in audited financial report.
