Licogi 16 Joint Stock Company (LICOGI 16) has announced LICOGI 16 with PV Oil and ITOCHU held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project of a factory producing Bio-ethanol at Binh Phuoc as follows:

1. On 20 February 2010, Orient Bio-Fuels Company Limited (Was founded by 22% of LICOGI 16, 29% of PV Oil and 49% of ITOCHU) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project of a factory producing Bio-ethanol at Binh Phuoc.

2. Details of the project:

- Target of the project: building and running a factory producing Bio-ethanol for Vietnam industry and transportation.

- Size of the project:

+ The production line from receving material to spliting water with capacity 300,000 liter / day

+ Fire and exploring preventor system

+ Measure and control system

+ Information and connecttion system

+ Sewage disposal system

+ Roads and offices

- Location: Minh Hung Town, Bu Dang Dist., Binh Phuoc Province

- Usage area: About 42.6ha

- Total capital for the project: USD81,000,000

- Operation time: 50 years as from receiving the Investment License

- Starting time for the factory’s operation: Expected in quarter 4/2011.
