Programme on consumers’ well-known brands
The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) launched the Vietnamese Well-known Brand Programme 2010 at a gala night in Hanoi on August 15 with the aim of promoting best industrial products that win consumers’ trusts.
The biennial programme, the third of its kind, will conduct surveys in 40 industries in18 cities and provinces.
The event’s organizers said it will give winning brands an opportunity to compete for the award “Southeast Asia’s Most Outstanding Business”, which will be announced at the ASEAN Summit 2010 to be hosted by Vietnam.
At the event, VCCI announced 33 Vietnamese Well-known Brands 2008, including Agribank, Viettien, Kinhdo, Traphaco, Bao Viet, Song Da 10, Taxi Mai Linh, Toan My, Lai Thieu, FPT, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Petrolimex, Kymdan, Omo, Honda, Nokia, Sony, and Heneiken.
