Industrial expansion in Tay Ninh

The People’s Committee of the southern province of Tay Ninh has approved the zoning plans submitted by Phuoc Dong – Boi Loi industry-urban area-service complex and the Bourbon-An Hoa industry-service zone.

The Phuoc Dong – Boi Loi complex, financed by the Vietnam Rubber Industrial Corporation has a total area of 2,850 ha, of which 2,200 ha is for the construction of industrial factories and hi-tech areas and 650 ha for a residence-service zone.

The other 1,020 ha industrial zone, invested by France ’s Bourbon Corporation, will encompass a 760 ha industrial production area and a 184 ha warehousing area.

The two complexes, which were granted construction licences by the Prime Minister on April 23 are 50km from Ho Chi Minh City and 30km from Moc Bai international bordergate.

Once completed, they will serve to promote economic development in the southern area of the province.
