GE appoints distributors for its light bulbs
General Electric’s lighting division has appointed a sole distributor each for Vietnam’s northern and southern regions to expand its presence in the country.
GE Consumer & Industrial Thursday signed deals with Hoang Sinh for the north and Hai Dang Quang for the south.
Wong Wai Hong, GE Consumer & Industrial’s director for Vietnam and Malaysia, said Vietnam is an emerging market that offers opportunities for lighting products and it is a good time to enter.
The US giant’s lighting products will be available in the country through 2,000 outlets run by the two distributors.
