Chan May petrol warehouse and port inaugurated
The Chan May petrol depot and port in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue was officially inaugurated on September 21.
The facility is invested by the Vietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil), a subsidiary of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) with a total capital of VND 52.5 billion.
This will be the entrepot to receive petrol and oil from big base depots of PV Oil to be transported to localities in the north of the central region, contributing to reducing transport costs via automobiles, especially through dangerous passes on the National highway 1A.
This is also the entrepot for petrol and oil produced by Dung Quat Oil Refinery once the plant becomes operation.
