RoK invests in half a billion USD resort

The Nam -A D&C Company of the Republic of Korea has received a licence for investment in a beach resort in Thua Thien-Hue province at the cost of almost 8.1 trillion VND (equivalent to 481.74 million USD).

The project consists of an 18-hole golf course, 1,012 coastal villas, nine hotels with 600 rooms and a multi-purpose entertainment park, covering a total area of 317 ha.

The RoK company is scheduled to start the construction in January 2009 and put the first part of it into operation in December 2010.

The entire project will be built in four phases until 2016
