Corporate code and tax code become identical

The corporate code on business and taxation application certificates will also be the corporate tax code, according to a joint circular recently issued by ministries of finance; planning and investment; and public security to regulate business and taxation registrations.

The code will be used in taxation declaration for all kinds of tax that a business has to pay.

The new procedures also allow businesses to receive business and taxation registration certificates within a maximum of just five days.

Businesses can also send their applications via online business registration systems and will be replied with an online answer about information relating to their applications if there are any changes or supplement should be made and time to come to collect their certificates.

The circular will take effect 15 days after it is published in the Government Gazette.
