Honda rolls out five millionth bike
Honda Vietnam on July 28 rolled out its five millionth motorbike at its plant in the northern province of Vinh Phuc after twelve years of production.
The Japanese-invested firm, which produces motorbikes, scooters and sedans in Vietnam , last year pumped 60 million USD to its second factory here, which will specialise in the production of scooters.
The 290 million USD Company, a joint venture between Honda Motor of Japan , Asian Motor Motor of Thailand and the Vietnam Engineering and Agricultural Machinery Corporation, sold 600,000 motorbikes in the first half of this year.
