TTF: Explanation for QII.2012 business result (the parent company)

Truong Thanh Furniture Corporation explained the fluctuation in business result of the parent company between Quarter II/2012 and Quarter II/2011:

-         Compared to Quarter II/2011, the revenue in Quarter II/2012 decreased 26% because most of incomes from works were not been recorded in this quarter but will be recorded in Quarter III and Quarter IV/2012.

-         The ratio of Gross profit to Net revenue increased 16% because the Corporation has applied cost-cutting measures to decrease the cost of goods sold. 

-         Profit after tax increased 107% because the Corporation had no losses from exchange rate difference, and the Corporation saved about 30% of selling expense. Besides, the Corporation had more income from asset clearance.
