SMC: Resolution of the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of SMC Investment - Trading Joint Stock Company unanimously adopted the following issues:

Article 1: The BOD approving the record date to close shareholders list (expected in February 2012) as follows:

• The 2nd dividend payment for 2011: 5%/ par value

• The date to hold the 2012 Annual General Meeting

Article 2: Authorizing CFO Nguyen Binh Trong to implement necessary procedures to hold the meeting and pay dividend.

Article 3: The Board of Directors, the Board of Supervisors and the Management are responsible to implement the resolution.     

This resolution is valid as from January 11, 2012.
