DVP: Explanation for business result in QII/2011

Dinh Vu Port Investment & Development JSC (HOSE: DVP)  gave reasons causing the fluctuation over 10 percent between two report periods:

• The quantity of goods through port in QII/2011 increased 21.94% from QII/2010 (QII/2010: 928,721.4 tons; QII/2011: 1,132,511.3 tons).

• The financial income in QII/2011 increased 39.5% compared to QII/2010 (QII/2010: VND5,481,162,700; QII/2011: VND7,645,773,618).

• Therefore, the increase in revenue in QII/2011 helped the profit after tax in QII/2011 rise 40.5% from QII/2010 (Profit after tax in QII/2011: VND40,380,387,3631; Profit after tax in QII/2010: VND28,741,191,790).
