Net revenue from sales and services in QII/2011 was VND18,173 million decreasing 65.74% from the same period of last year, and profit after tax was VND2,462 million, decreasing 87.24% because of the following reasons:
- The export of sand to foreign markets is currently suspended under the State’s laws. Dredging and exploiting sand for leveling were not executed well because big projects have been delayed or worked perfunctorily, and leveling, encroaching sea have not been executed as planed because real estate business has many difficulties
- The plan to issue shares to raise funds and finance projects in Cambodia and Tay Nguyen was not executed because of unfavorable situation of the securities market. This affected the progress of these projects compared to the plan in early 2011.
