HCM City to host int'l electronics exposition
HCM City will host for the first time Viet Nam ETE 2010, the third International Electrical Technology and Equipment Exhibition, from August 26-28.
Russia, Germany, Japan, Singapore, China, South Korea and India are among foreign exhibitors at the three-day event which aims to exchange innovations in electrical engineering among countries, according to organisers.
As part of the national trade promotion programme, it will also be a platform for networking, exploring business opportunities as well as attracting investment and export expansion.
Nearly 300 booths of domestic and international enterprises will showcase technologies and equipment for hydro, thermal, wind, solar, and nuclear power plants, industrial and civil lighting and urban lighting systems.
Electricity-saving products and technologies, electricity-saving co-ordinating solutions and energy projects will also be displayed at the event.
The main event of the exhibition at Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Centre in Tan Binh District will be a seminar on trade promotion and investment in electrical equipment sector, bringing together policy makers, investors, producers and suppliers to exchange on development plans for the electrical equipment sector until 2025.
The exhibition, which is co-organised by Viet Nam Electrotechnical Industry Association, Viet Nam Electricity Group and CIS Viet Nam Advertising and Exhibition Joint Stock Company, attracted 160 enterprises last year, with half coming from foreign countries.
