Unilever opens new plant in Ho Chi Minh City
Unilever Vietnam on June 30 opened a homecare liquids manufacturing plant in its existing complex in HCM City ’s Cu Chi North West Industrial Zone.
The plant has a capacity of 5 million bottles a day, which will be provided for the domestic market and for export to more than a dozen countries and territories, including Hong Kong , Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand .
Unilever’s Cu Chi factory covers an area of 12.5 ha. The 60 million USD plant employs 1,300 people and cooperates with 85 local material and service suppliers.
