German wholesaler to open tenth outlet

Wholesaler Metro Cash & Carry said it will open a new outlet in Mekong Delta’s An Giang Province next year.

The new store will be the German group’s second outlet in the Mekong Delta and tenth in Vietnam.

More than 25,000 products - 95 percent of which are made in Vietnam - will be sold at the outlet.

Entering Vietnam in 2002, the group is currently operating nine outlets across the country with its latest store opened two months ago in southern Dong Nai Province.

The group operates 655 stores in 29 countries and territories.
