Domestic business allowed to invest in Australia

The Prime Minister has agreed in principle to allow the Thang Long Investment and Commercial Joint Stock Company (TinCom) to invest in the production of coal in Australia.

The Lao Dong (Labour) daily cited sources from the Ministry of Industry and Trade that TinCom has signed a cooperation agreement with the Environment Clean Technologies Limited (ETC) to build a coldry (dehydrated brown coal) plant with an annual capacity of up to 100 million tonnes in Australia. The coal is intended for export.

The investment project has a duration of 50 years.
