Russian businesses plan investment in central VN

Russian companies are planning to invest in a number of up-coming projects in the southern central province of Quang Ngai and other central provinces, Russian consul general to Da Nang city Materiy Yuri has said.

They will study and invest in a number of key projects such as Chu Lai airport, oil refinery plant, and those in the fields of heavy industry and tourism, the Russian diplomat said at a meeting with the Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee on September 11.

Mateiry Yuri stressed that he would try his best to become a bridge to connect Russian companies with Quang Ngai province and other central and Central Highlands provinces in the country.

According to the diplomat, Russia has invested in hydropower plants in the provinces of Quang Nam, Dak Lak, and Kon Tum.

Russian businesses have also participated in conducting oil exploration in the waters offshore provinces from Quang Tri to Da Nang city, he added./.
