1. Comparing to business result in Q1/09
- Sales in Q2/09 increased VND63 billion compared to that in Q1/09, equivalent to the growth rate as 22%.
- Profit in Q2/09 increased 76% in comparison with that in Q1/09
Reason: the company expanded the market share, especially its key products which gained the growth rate of 30%.Material expenses in Q2/09 was lower than in Q1/09.
2. Comparing to business result in the same period last year (Q2/08)
- Sales in Q2/09 was not higher, but profit increased 195% compared to Q2/08.
Reasons:
- At the end of Q4/08, material price significantly reduced and the company decreased selling prices by 15%. Thus, although sales still remained unchanged, consumption output gained the average growth rate as 15%.
- Wih the growth rate of 15% and rapid decrease of material expenses, profit between Q2/09 and Q2/08 had big difference.
