DQC: Explanation for business result in quarter 2/2009

Dien Quang Joint Stock Company (DQC: DQ JSC) has explained the business result in quarter 2/2009 as follows:

1. The business result in the first 06 months 2009:

* Because sales production often increases on the last months of year, in quarter 2 the company increased investment expenses to prepare services for market. Therefore selling expenses increased in quarter 2.

* Export market has been in difficulty because of global crisis. So the company continues investing in new market expansion.

2. Difference of profit before tax between quarter 2/2009 and quarter 1/2009:

* Quarter 1:                                                          -VND9,016,006,161

* Quarter 2:                                                          -VND5,515,785,324

* Accumulation in 06 months:                                -VND15,008,744,808

* Difference:                                                         -VND476,953,323

Reason of the difference: Inventory value was different at other times and statements were consolidated to deduct coincident revenue or cost. Unrealized accumulation profit was defined on the figures at reporting time after deducting internal transaction.
