Software provider woos HCM City enterprises
Germany-based business software provider SAP stopped in HCM City on Tuesday, one of 100 sites on its world tour, to discuss the importance of adapting to today’s global market.
Taking place in more than 50 countries in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America, the SAP World Tour is a premium business and technology event.
"In today’s business environment, our customers need to see, think and act clearly to thrive," Shyam Prasad, chief operating officer of SAP South East Asia, said.
"Gaining clarity and then acting upon it, both within their organisations and across their wider business networks, ensures that our customers become ‘best-run’ businesses."
The SAP World Tour has reached more than 240,000 customers, partners and persons of influence over the last five years.
In Southeast Asia, the tour will cover seven markets, starting in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 2 and ending in Karachi, Pakistan, on October 7.
This is the first time the event was held in HCM City.
Participants learned about the SAP business software solution portfolio, which can help companies adapt more quickly to changing market needs and execute growth strategies in an international environment.
In addition, it can help businesses maximise results with existing resources while continuing to concentrate on core business competencies and maintaining close customer relations.
Sharing their experiences on how to apply SAP were Nguyen Viet Hung, CEO of PetroViet Nam Technology, Le Quang Hanh, vice president of finance and control of the International Consumer Products Corporation (ICP), and Don Lam, CEO and co-founder of the VinaCapital Group.
SAP provides solutions for companies of all sizes in more than 25 industries, and has 82,000 customers in more than 120 countries.
