Loan helps boost Central Highlands coffee industry

As many as 750 billion VND will be provided for the production and development of coffee industry in the Central Highlands region.

Under a cooperation agreement signed between the Central Highlands coffee Import-Export Joint Stock Company, the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCC) and the PetroVietnam Finance Corporation (PVFC) on May 10, coffee producers in the Central Highlands will be able to buy nitrogenous fertilizers from the PVFCC at a preferential interest rate (down by 4 percent compared to the bank loan rate).

The growers will also be assisted with production techniques as well as price and market information.
