FPT may list shares of software unit on foreign bourse

Vietnamese software-maker and mobile-phone distributor FPT Corporation plans to list shares of a software unit on a foreign bourse.

“We intend to list the software unit’s shares in an overseas market, although it’s too early to speak about the volume, timeframe, and market for the listing,” Bui Quang Ngoc, Deputy General Director of FPT, said by phone Tuesday from Hanoi.

“The reason is that our main market for software business is abroad, and many investors are aware of its business.”
