Thai IT industry sets sights on Vietnam
Thai IT solution firms are eyeing the Vietnamese market, especially sectors like fund management and banking and financial services, the Thai Software Export Promotion Association said.
The Association said the Vietnamese market is promising for Thai software exporters who have integrated into the market and fully understand the demands of local businesses.
The Association organized a trip for its members last week to show off their products related to the construction, hotel and banking and financial industries in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Kongfha Chindabanjerd, offshore business head of Wealth Management System, said Thai firms face competition from Western businesses specializing in banking and finance.
