MTG: Extension for submitting the 2008 financial statement

MTGas Joint Stock Company (MTG: MT GAS) has informed of extending time of submitting the 2008 financial statement as follows:

* On 19/03/2007, the BOD decided to change the position of General Director. Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung has been appointing to temporary General Director instead of Mr. Pham The Cuong. The time of hand-overing power of the two persons from 01/04/2009 to 30/04/2009 has affected implementation of the 2008 financial statement. Thus, the company submits the statement late as stipulated.

* Regarding holding the annual shareholders’ meeting, the company has delayed it to May 2009.

Due to the above reasons, the company has asked permission of the Hochiminh Stock Exchange to extend time of submitting the 2008 financial statement till 25/04/2009. After the date, the company will make the shareholder list for holding the annual shareholders’ meeting.
