TRC: Delay of examining the financial statement

Tay Ninh Rubber Company (TRC: TANIRUCO) completed the financial statement of Q1/2009 on 16/04/2009, however, it has been not examined by the chosen auditing company due to the following reasons:

1. Setting the Q4/08 financial statement (20/01/2009)

2. Setting the 2008 financial statement (17/02/2009)

3. The Vietnam Auditing and Accounting Consultant Company Limited (AVA) – an independent auditing company examined the 2008 financial statement (from 25/02/2009 to 03/03/2009).

4. Working with the delegation of auditing state-owned company (from 27/03/2009 to 08/04/2009).

5. Holding the annual shareholders’ meeting (10/04/2009)

6. Preparing for the investment projects

The company has asked permission of the Hochiminh Stock Exchange to delay examination of the Q1/2009 financial statement. The examination of the financial statement of the first 6 months 2009 will be done by the independent auditing company.
