Year’s first garment shipment worth US$250,000 exported

Khanh Hoa Garment Joint Stock Company on January 6 exported its first orders to the USA and Denmark at a total value of US$250,000, fulfilling its contracts signed at the end of last year.

According to Vo Thanh Quang, director of Khanh Hoa Garment JSC, exports to these two markets in 2009 will face more difficulties than in 2008 due to the impact of the global economic crisis.

To deal with the unstable situation, the company has tried to develop new consumer markets apart from traditional ones in both large and small countries. In addition to old designs, the company has continued to create new designs to attract customers, striving to earn as much as in 2008.

Last year, Khanh Hoa Garment JSC exported over 6.2 million products to other foreign countries, mainly Europe and the US to gain US$2.8 million.
