2009 coal exports to drop slightly
The Industry and Trade Ministry forecast Monday coal exports in 2009 would slip down to 19.5 million tons from 19.7 million last year.
This year's coal output will be 41 million tons, up 3 percent from 2008, the ministry estimated in a report. Vietnam is a key coal supplier to China and Japan.
