FPT: Resolution of the Board of Directors

The Corporation for Financing and Promoting Technology (FPT Corp.) announced the resolution of the Board of Directors:

1. The Board of Directors decided to merge FPT Distribution Company (FDC), FPT Mobile (FMB), FPT Retail (FRT) into FPT Distribution Corporation (*). FPT Distribution Corporation will be in operation on January 1st, 2009.  

2. The Board of Directors also accepted Project “FPT University – Stage I”:

+ Project: FPT University – Stage I

+ Address: Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Thach That District, Hanoi City.

+ Total investment: expected about VND82,590,000,000.

+ Time: 2 years (2008 – 2009)

+ Leader of the project: FPT University

3. The Corporation for Financing and Promoting Technology submitted the name change     for the General Meeting’s approval. Therefore, the company’s new name in English is as follows:

+ Previous name: The Corporation for Financing and Promoting Technology.

+ New name: FPT Corporation.
