SAF: Explanation for business result in Quarter 3/2008

Safoco Foodstuff Joint Stock Company has given explanation for the profit in Quarter 3/2008 totaled VND3,986,738,716, up 108 percent compared to Quarter 2/2008.

Reasons:

* Prices of materials, including wheat flour, rice flour, carton boxes and others, reduced between 5 percent and 10 percent.

* Administrative expenses in Q3 decreased by VND234,416,707 over Q2.
