Dong Nai inaugurates expanded port

The Dong Nai Port Joint Stock Company opened for use an expanded harbor for cargo ships of up to 10,000 deadweight tonnages (DWT) in Go Dau A Port in southern Dong Nai Province on October 17.

The port has the highest capacity in Dong Nai, boasting a 100 meter-long and 22 meter-wide wharf. When connected with the existing wharf system, it will be able to handle three cargo ships of 10,000 DWT at once.

According to government plans, Go Dau port complex (Go Dau A and Go Dau B ports) will be upgraded to accommodate cargo ships of 15,000 to 30,000 DWT.
