Central economic zones in need of highly skilled labor
The Dung Quat Economic Zone, home the nation’s first oil refinery, is in urgent need of highly skilled people, a seminar heard Sunday.
Many local and foreign economists and managers attended the seminar held in central Quang Ngai Province to discuss “Human Resource Development for the Dung Quat Economic Zone in the Integration Period.”
Key speakers at the seminar said the supply of high-skilled labor for the economic zone was much shorter than demand.
They said relevant agencies and enterprises must join hands in sourcing and providing suitable training in order to meet the increasing demand for skilled labor.
