France helps HCM City improve urban development capacity
The French Development Agency (AFD) has provided 1.5 million EUR for a technical assistance project to improve the management capacity of the Ho Chi Minh City Investment Fund for Urban Development (HIFU).
Of the total amount, 1 million EUR will be spent on consultancy and training work while the remainder will be poured into a programme to raise social responsibility for environmental protection.
The project is part of the AFD’s 30 million EUR credit provided for HIFU to implement projects on urban development.
