Ha Tinh: 7 million USD for new IP

The Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Jiseya Partners company will invest 7 million USD in building a 100 ha industrial zone and a 30 ha new urban area in Cau Treo International Border Gate Economic Zone of central Ha Tinh province.

According to a memorandum of understanding signed between the provincial People’s Committee and Jiseya Partners, the construction work is scheduled to start in early 2009.

Apart from the project, Jiseya Partners plans to build a vocational school in Ky Anh district to provide, training for the locals.

With the agreement, the RoK company has become the economic zone’s first foreign investor, according to its management board.

The zone previously attracted investments worth around 1 trillion VND from four domestic businesses. It is one of the localities that were prioritised to call for investments inside and outside the country.

The province has listed 65 projects to call for investments in the 2008-2010 period with an estimated capital of about 8.9 billion USD.
