Korean transportation penetrates Vietnam market
The leading transportation company of the Republic of Korea - Kumho Express has officially penetrated Vietnamese market by opening a joint stock Vietnamese –Korean Kumho Viet Thanh today in Hanoi.
Kumho – Viet Thanh is set up from two transportation companies: Kumho Express of the RoK and Viet Thanh of Vietnam with the charter capital of US$4 million.
Kumho- Viet Thanh will provide high quality coach service. The company will import around 200 coaches and open routes to main cities of Vietnam such as Ha Long, Lang Son, and Haiphong. In the future, Kumho Viet Thanh will plan to open more routes to Kunming and Nanning of China, Vientiane of Laos.
These coaches will operate under a standard such as on time start or stop at the right place. Particularly, on each coach, there are stewardesses like those on the planes who are ready to give guidance to customers during the whole route. This is a prominence as compared with the present bus and coach services.
According to Kumho Viet Thanh leaders, with experiences of Kumho Express in the RoK and China and well organised operation and good services, the company will contribute to improving the transportation in Vietnam.
