FPT cooperates with RoK leading company
An agreement on investment cooperation has been signed between the Corporation for Finance and Promoting Technology (FPT) and STIC, a leading private adventure investment company from the Republic of Korea (RoK).
Under agreement, inked in Hanoi on the July 31, in addition to investment cooperation in Vietnam , the two sides considered the possibilities of establishing joint investment fund or a joint venture and expanding their cooperation to other areas.
Truong Gia Binh, CEO of the Vietnamese partner, expressed his hope that with STIC’s technology strength, the two sides will jointly invest in RoK technology projects in Vietnam .
STIC plans to open a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City by the end of this year to promote its investment operations in Vietnam .
FPT, the leading IT firm in Vietnam , is running business in many areas, including hardware supply and mobile phone service.
FPT has 13 affiliates in Vietnam and two others in Japan and Singapore.
