Dong Thap licenses more aquaculture feed projects

The People’s Committee of Dong Thap province has granted a licence to the DOMYFEED Co. Ltd. to build an aquaculture feed factory capable of churning out 60,000 tonnes per year.

Covering 40,000 sq.m in Sa Dec town, the plant has a total investment of 81.5 billion VND (roughly 4.9 million USD). It is scheduled for operation in December this year.

Earlier, Domenal Joint Stock Company was licensed to build a 144 billion VND (8.6 million USD) mill to produce feed for aquaculture at the Phong My Industrial Zone.

Designed to have an output of 60,000 tonnes of products per annum, the facility will become operational in October.

The Mekong Delta province currently houses 27 aquaculture feed processing projects with a combined output of over 2 million tonnes.
