Construction of Binh Long Rubber Industrial Park kicked off

Vietnam Rubber Industrial Group on July 25 launched the construction of the Minh Hung III - Binh Long Rubber Industrial Park in Minh Hung commune, Chon Thanh district in the southern province of Binh Phuoc.

The park covers over 291 hectares. Of this, 180 hectares are for construction of plants, 28 hectares for services. Total cost for construction of infrastructural facilities is put at VND 289 billion, divided into two phases.

The park's eight shareholders are those that have sufficient financial capacity and experience. Of these, Binh Long Rubber Company occupies the majority stake.

After the ground breading ceremony, DONGWHA group from the Republic of Korea signed a contract to lease land in the park to build a US$125 million wood production factory which has a capacity of 300,000 cubic metres of wood a year.
