Tan Viet Securities to manage Sacombank shares

Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SCB) said it has authorised Tan Viet Securities Inc (TVSI) to become a depository, manager and broker of the bank’s share.

The company will also exercise the bank’s shareholders’ rights related to its shares. Shareholders will begin depositing shares at TVSI from June 2.

The bank said it was choosing foreign strategic partners and would list its shares on the stock market after partners are chosen.

Last year, its pre-tax profits reached 359 billion VND (22.44 trillion USD) while total asset value was 26 trillion VND (1.63 billion USD).
