Technical difficulty halts HoSE trading
A computer system problem halted trading on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) at 8:53 am on May 27.
HoSE General Director Tran Dac Sinh said that HoSE had to close to allow technicians to solve the problem.
The temporary interruption did not worry investors as it occurred at the beginning of the day when there had not been any transactions. The HoSE operation was suspended by a similar computer system problem in February.
In the meantime, the HaSTC-Index at the Hanoi Securities Trading Centre fell 2.29 points or 1.83 percent to end at 123.17 points.
