HASTC and PetroVietnam strengthen co-operation
The Hanoi Securities Trading Centre (HASTC) and the Vietnam Oil and Gas group (PVN) signed an agreement to strengthen bilateral co-operation in Hanoi on October 16.
This is the first time HASTC signed such an agreement with a domestic economic group. The agreement is aimed at creating conditions for deeper co-operation between the two organisations, contributing to promoting the development of the northern bourse, the Vietnam oil and gas group and the Vietnamese financial market.
Under the agreement, the centre will provide support to PVN in carrying out procedures and regulations relating to share auctions, share and corporation bond listings and other securities market-related activities.
In addition, HASTC will also provide support and consultancy to PVN member companies in their process to mobilise capital through the stock market as well as seek partners and list their shares on international bourses.
PVN will encourage its member companies to list their shares and bonds on the northern bourse, thus providing more quality “products” for the market. PVN will also ask their subsidiaries to well carry out regulations relating to securities and the securities market.
