IDG Ventures Viet Nam steps into communications industry

IDG Ventures Viet Nam will buy into Vietnam Communications Corporation (VC Corp) - one of the country’s pioneering communications companies.

A contract underscoring the new deal between IDG Ventures Viet Nam – the first technology capital venture fund in Viet Nam , and VC Corp was signed in Ha Noi on October 16.

Addressing the signing ceremony, IDG Ventures Viet Nam General Director Nguyen Bao Hoang expressed his belief in the success of a series of VC Corp’s innovate online products.

On the same day, VC Corp announced the start up of “Baamboo Tra Tu” – a free online dictionary that contains 900,000 specialist words and phrases.
