- May 3rd, 1966: Anh Son - Nghe An Cement 12 / 9 Joint Stock Company, formerly known as 66.CX construction site, was established with a capacity of 5,000 tons per year, crude line technology and mainly manual labor.
- In 1976: The 66.CX construction site was renamed as Anh Son - Nghe An Cement 12 / 9 Joint Stock Company with a capacity of 1000 tons per year.
- On December 11th, 1992: The cement plant was restructured.
- On December 12th, 2003: Factory renamed as Nghe An 12 / 9 Cement Company.
- On January 4th, 2006: The company changed to a joint-stock company with charter capital of VND13,408.08 million.
- November 16th, 2007: The charter capital was reduced to VND 12.9 billion.
- On May 12th, 2007: The company issued shares to existing shareholders to increase charter capital to VND38.7 billion.
- In 2009: The company joined in the Oil and Gas Group which is an official member of Vietnam Oil and Gas Construction Corporation (PVC), and increased its charter capital to VND 200 billion.
- On December 1st, 2010: Shares of the company were listed and traded on the UPCoM.
- In September, 2011: The company renamed as Nghe An Cement and Petroleum Joint Stock Company.
- In April, 2015: The company renamed as Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company No. 2.
