- November 6, 1984: Health Import and Export Company was set up. It was the first state-run export company of the Ministry of Health and under the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Companies Association (VNPCA);
- April 22, 1993: Renamed as Ho Chi Minh city Health Import and Export II Company, abbreviated as VIMEDIMEX II (HCM);
- June 12, 2006: VIMEDIMEX II (HCM) was equitized with a charter capital of VND25 billion in which State holds 51% stake;
- March 15, 2008: Increased the charter capital to VND49 billion. State's holding was reduced to 25.8%;
- December 12, 2008: Increased the charter capital to VND65 billion;
- April 2010: Increased the charter capital to VND81.4 billion;
- September 30, 2010: Listed and traded on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HoSE);
- March 2012: The Company increased the charter capital to VND84.4 billion;
- 2016: Increased the charter capital to VND119,40 billion;
- 2017: Increased the charter capital to VND154,40 billion;
