- On May 27, 2002: The predecessor, PetroVietnam Transportation Company, a subsidiary of Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation (now Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group), was established.

- On January 11, 2017: Increased charter capital to VND 2,814.4 billion.
