- July 2011: PVI Reinsurance Limited Corporation - a subsidiary of PVI Holdings under Vietnam National Petroleum Group was established with an initial charter capital of VND460 billion;

- 2013: Equitized and transformed into PVI Reinsurance Joint Stock Corporation with a charter capital of VND668 billion;

- September 21, 2018: Increased the charter capital to VND728 billion;  

- November 26, 2019: Became a public company;

- December 24, 2020: Traded on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).
