- 2009: Phu Yen General Materials JSC officially came into operation with a charter capital of VND117 billion, in which State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) held the controlling interest.

- 2010: SCIC transferred its stake in Phu Yen General Materials JSC to PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil).

- 2011: Phu Yen General Materials JSC was divided into Phu Yen General Materials JSC and Phu Yen Cashew Joint Stock Company.

- 01 January 2012: Renamed as Petrovietnam Oil Phu Yen Joint Stock Company.

- 19 January 2016: Listed on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX);

- 02 March 2016: Traded on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX);

- 17 February 2021: Increased the charter capital to VND86.5 billion;
