- 17 May 2007: PetroVietNam Power Corporation was established under the Deicision No.1468/QD-DKVN issued by Vietnam Oil and Gas Group;

- 08 December 2017: The Prime Minister signed the Decision No.1977/QD-TTg on approving the equitization plan of the Parent Company – PetroVietNam Power Corporation (PV Power);

- 06 March 2018: Traded on the UPCOM market;

- 01 July 2018: Put into operation under the model of a joint stock company with a charter capital of VND23,418,716,000,000; 

- 31 August 2018: Became a public company;

- 28 December 2018: Cancelled the transaction registration on the UPCOM market;

- 14 January 2019: Traded on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE);
